A series of talks by invited guests who are practitioners and/or scholars whose work reflects the theme of the chosen theme.
The objective of this symposium is to present academic studies and/or creative practices that expounds on the following themes:
Listening as a political act, which is the central conversation point of The Listening Biennial.
Listening to/as connection, which is the central conversation point for TLB 2nd edition in Asia.
Listening (as/to) science and listening (as/to) art [listening as science, or the science of listening, or listening to science; listening as art or the art of listening or listening to art] are two main fields where the act of listening is understood.
Each speaker will be given 30 minutes to present. Q&A will follow at the end of every session. A Moderator is expected to manage the flow of the program and to synthesize the points at the end of the session.
